“Where the Work Once Was”
Fine Art Print – Framed
Photographed just outside of Yellowstone National Park | June 9th, 2025
Half-held by overgrown brush and the cool quiet of evening, an old tractor and weathered dump truck rest side by side—rusted, worn, but not forgotten. Where the Work Once Was captures that in-between light of late day, when sun begins to fade but hasn’t quite surrendered, casting a soft blue hush across steel, paint, and patina.
This image speaks to a slower rhythm of life—where machines once essential are now folded gently back into the land. There’s beauty in their stillness, not because they’ve been abandoned, but because they’ve been allowed to stay. A witness to time, work, and the silence that follows.
